      Presentation

Triadic Memories’ hypnotic music, by the American composer Morton Feldman, is the mainstay of the visual mantra created by Luigi de Angelis as his own personal approach to the ruins of Ani, the ancient Armenian capital, and the little Georgian churches in the Kackar mountains, in eastern Turkey... It’s not a conventional documentary, but a perceptive inquiry on pure contemplation, on the feeling of  timeless emptiness and extreme beauty that all of us can experience once in front of a ruined building or town, in this case a coffer of age-old memories. It’s an exercise of admiration...
